**How to calculate your 2013-14 WIU/UPI dues**

###

### Here’s how UPI's yearly dues for bargaining unit members are calculated

1. Take the member's annual base salary and multiply it times 0.6%;

2. Any member whose base salary is $55,602.00 or more will pay the total amount that

UPI pays to its affiliates, $549.26, in addition to the amount in #1.

OR

3. Any member whose base salary is less than $55,602.00 per year but more than or equal to $14,453

and all WIU Pro Technical unit members will pay $292.43 in affiliation dues in addition to the amount in # 1.

OR

4. Any member whose base salary is less than $14,453 per year but more than or

equal to $8,775 will pay $164.02 in affiliation dues in addition to the amount in # 1.

OR

5. Any member whose base salary is less than $8,775 per year will pay $99.81 in affiliation dues in addition to the amount in #1.

6. Then divide the resulting total in line 2, 3, 4 or 5 by the number of a member's pay periods per year.

The formula would look like the following...

0.6% X base salary + affiliation dues = dues per

Pay periods per year pay period
